Giving by Faith

Ecclesiastes 11:1 Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days

Cast means to send out, to give up and to sow.  Faith will send out, give up, sow the first fruits of its increase in tithes and offerings, in hospitality, and in love.  Faith recognizes that it cannot afford not to give.  Just as the ocean waters wash upon the sea shore, Faith is confident that the blessings of the LORD will return to the person who is obedient to God’s word.  Be that faith-filled person and watch God move on your behalf.  The promise is that if you cast your bread upon the waters, God’s abundant, limitless increase will come back to you.  Have faith in God, give.

Prayer for today:  Father, I say that I am a giver.  I give in faith relying totally upon your word.  In JESUS name, AMEN.
