Things You Should Know About Temptation, Part 5

AccomplishmentTemptation always comes on the hills of great accomplishments.

Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

On the hills of being tempted three times, and Jesus’ refusal to yield to temptation were His great accomplishments. Jesus began teaching in the synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.   After more than two thousand years, His teaching and healing ministry is still as relevant today as it was then. Jesus made a mark that cannot be erased. He made fishers of men, and the gospel of Jesus Christ is still being preached today. He commissioned men to lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. He performed miracle after miracle. The same Holy Spirit with all power is the same ONE, who lives in you, who have received Jesus Christ as your Saviour and LORD. Holding fast to your profession of faith without doubt or wavering and refusing to yield to temptation will result in your breakthrough accomplishments. There are idioms that say, “Your breakthrough is just around the corner.” Or, “Your breakthrough is a short distance away.” No, faith is now. Right now, “…faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen”. (Amp) Therefore, your breakthrough, your accomplishments are now. You just have to take hold of them, now. How? Believe, confess and receive them before they manifest.
