The Benefits of Listening and Obeying

Proverbs 1:33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Wisdom is gained from listening. Blessings come as a result of obeying what you hear from the Holy One of God. Those who listen will have no fear of bad news because they confidently trust the LORD to care for them. God told Noah He was going to destroy all living creatures with a flood because the earth had become corrupt. He further instructed Noah to build an Ark. Having never seen rain, Noah listened and obeyed. As a result, Noah received the following benefits: he and his family dwelt in safety and peace with no fear. As the LORD cared for Noah, you can confidently trust that He will care for you when you listen and obey Him.
