How to Redeem the Time

redeemtime clock BibleEphesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

It is possible to walk through life asleep. How can this happen? This is done by closing of the eyes and allowing things that God hates. Thereby, causing a decline in the spiritual and moral standard of living God has set forth.  Redeeming is the Greek word exagorazó (ex-ag-or-ad’-zo), which means to buy up, to rescue from lost. Because the days in which we live are evil, there is an urgent need to buy up, which is to rescue the time that has been lost. It is understood that the LORD is the Redeemer and you are the redeemed. Therefore, you have been authorized by the LORD to redeem lost time. The following steps will jump start the process of redeeming the time. 1.) Pray for wisdom to understand what the will of the LORD is. 2.) Walk purposefully and carefully by watching your conduct. 3.) Seize the time making the most of every moment. 4.) Stay in the attitude of prayer by singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs in your heart, making melody to the LORD. 5.) Give thanks always to God for all things in Jesus’ name. Redeem the time.
