Won’t He Do It – Oh, Yes He Will!

Fiery FurnaceHebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

When it looks like the end is near, and hope is fading, Selah (Pause and think about this)! One of the many names of God is Jehovah Shammah, which means the LORD is there. Another name is Jehovah Jireh, which means the LORD will provide. Israel’s situation looked hopeless when Goliath, the Philistine giant, challenged the nation to do battle with him. The LORD was there and He provided a ruddy kid name David to answer the challenge and empowered him to defeat the giant. King Nebuchadnezzar had the three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, tied up and thrown into the midst of a furnace of blazing fire. The LORD was there and He provided a cooling agent in the form of the Son of God. When the king looked into the furnace he saw four men unharmed, loose and walking around in the midst of the fire.  When you are facing the giants or when you find yourself in a hot situation, recall how the LORD has been with you and provided for you in the past. Remembering will give you the tenacity and confidence that David and the Hebrew boys had. They declared victory before they saw their victory. Call upon the name of the LORD for His names represent what He will do for you. Trust in the LORD. He is with you and He will provide for you. Now, allow your faith to speak boldly, even before you see the LORD’s deliverance. Declare, “Won’t He do it, Oh yes He will!”

Scripture Reference: I Samuel 17:36-49; Daniel 3

Prayer for today: Father, you said faith comes by hearing the word of God. So, I say you have delivered me before and I am confident that you will do it again. I declare it by faith in JESUS’ name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
