No Need to Worry

WorryPsalms 34:10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

The lion is the symbol of power. However, the young lions lack the power that is necessary to sustain them. They find themselves destitute, needy, and without sufficiency. They do lack and suffer hunger. The salvation of younger lions is the teachings of the older lions. Titus tells the older men and women to teach the younger men and women what is good. Good by definition means benefit. Teach them that one of the benefits of reverencing and seeking the LORD is having your need(s) met. Philippians tells us that God shall supply all our need. David said he had never seen the righteous forsaken or his children begging bread. Matthew tells us that we must seek the LORD, His kingdom ways and His righteousness and all these things will be added to our lives. The soul (mind, will, and emotions) desires to be fed. What we feed it depends upon our appetite. God wants to cleanse our pallet and let us taste Him. Psalms says, “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him”. The LORD tells us how to keep from suffering lack and hunger. He says to respect the LORD for there is no lack for them that respect Him. He calls us unto himself so that we may be empowered by teaching us to have respect for Him. Finally, He gives us the results of seeking Him and respecting Him. Unlike the young lions or those who disrespect Him and are void of proper teachings, we who seek the LORD and reverence Him shall not want for any good thing.
