Desolation Then Restoration

call-unto-me-god-will-answer-jeremiah-333Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Knowing everything there is to know about everything would simply be too much for our finite brains to comprehend, retain, maintain, and put into practice daily.  But thanks be to God, we have a LORD who is omniscient, all-knowing, all-seeing, and wise.   He is always willing to share His wisdom and to joint venture with Holy Spirit to help the children of Father God to walk it out daily.  In Jeremiah 33:3, the LORD gives him a command and a promise to tell Israel.  First, He commanded them to call unto Him.  In obedience to God, we are to pray; we are to cry out to Him in faith.  Second the LORD promised to “…answer them and show them great and mighty things fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).” AMP.  All God’s promises are yes, and Amen in Christ to the glory of God.  Trust that if He promised it, He will do it.  The LORD showed Israel their evil acts, which caused the cities of Judah and Jerusalem to be destroyed and the people to be taken into captivity.  Seeing the consequences of one’s actions that are against God prior to living through them can be devastating.  But the good news is that God is the restorer of the breach.  He showed them that He would restore them, build everything back as good as new, give them back the full possession of their land, and bless them bountifully.  Though this is a command and a promise for Israel, you have received the Spirit of Adoption.  Therefore, as God’s child, He commands you to call unto Him when you have been torn down by your own actions or otherwise, He promised He would restore you.  Look at Job.  Job lost everything, but the LORD restored him.  The Lord turned the captivity of Job when He prayed.  The LORD answered him and gave him twice as much as he had before.  After desolation comes restoration when you repent and call unto the LORD.

Prayer for today:  Father, thank you for hearing me when I pray.  Thank you for delivering and restoration me. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
