Run, Run Into the Tower

strongtower-14255684878nkg4Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

In ancient times, towers were built as a safe haven to protect men from their enemies and to provide food and supplies. Those towers were large walled areas made of thick stone blocks, which surrounded cities. Towers were huge and heavily fortified. They were watchtowers so that people seeking refuge and or enemies could be spotted in the distance. During wartime, not all towers were left standing. But there is a tower that no enemy can penetrate, nor destroy, that is, the name of the LORD. The name of the LORD is a strong tower. In the name of the LORD, you will find Divine power, protection, and provision. The name of the LORD is a name that you can rely upon to supply every need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. The LORD, God is a tower of refuge for those who put their trust in Him! Those in right-standing with the LORD run into Him to seek refuge in Him. When you are burdened down, overwhelmed, troubled, lost, need wisdom and direction, need rest or peace, or need to be refreshed run into the strong tower. The safest place for anyone is in the perfect will of God, living within His fortified tower. The LORD has an open door policy, which says “Come”. It is a whosoever will policy. There is power in the name of Jesus. Run to Him and allow Him to save you from whatever plagues you.

Prayer for today: Father, I say according to (Psalms 18:2 NLT) “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety”. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
