What Happens When There is Little or No Knowledge?

woman-with-question-marks_webHosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

The scarcity of knowledge abounds in every walk of life. One would think that with the proliferation of man’s educational and technological advances God would be given the credit. Yet, there is still a lack and rejection of God. Lack of knowledge and the rejection of the knowledge of God have grave consequences. Let us learn from Israel’s lack and rejection. 1.) They were destroyed. The Hebrew meaning for destroyed is to be dumb, to fail or perish. They chose to follow leadership that caused them to err which led to their failure. They played the role of a harlot and committed whoredom with other gods because they rejected the LORD. The more priests there were, the more they sinned against God. Making choices that are not Holy Spirit led according to the word of God will cause God to give you over to a reprobate, worthless, and good for nothing mind. Whereby, sorrow will be a constant theme for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever. So that no advantage would be taken of you by Satan, knowledge of God and acting upon His word will keep you from being ignorant and succumbing of his schemes. Therefore, choose wisely; choose God’s knowledge and His way of doing things. Tomorrow we will look at the second consequence of lack and the rejection of God’s knowledge.

Prayer for today: Father, I bind the spirit of dumbness and whoredom. As I hide your word in my heart increase my knowledge of you. Help me, I pray to seek you first in everything. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
