Can “It” Be Resurrected?

John 11:40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?

God is in the resurrection business.  For those who believe upon the name of Jesus, God will resurrect your love for Him and zeal to serve Him, your relationships, your career, your finances, or whatever “it” is that need to be resurrected according to His word.  He will never resurrect anything that will not be beneficial for you.  Resurrection may not be instantaneous.  Sometimes you may have to wait until He deems that you are positionally established in Him and that the time is right for you to receive “it”.  Lazarus the brother of Mary and Martha and friend of Jesus was very sick.  When Jesus heard of Lazarus’ sickness, He declared that Lazarus sickness was not unto death.  So instead of rushing to Lazarus’ side in Bethany, He remained two additional days in the same place where he was.  When Martha heard that Jesus was less than two miles away, she went out to meet Him for Lazarus had been dead for four days.  In her grief, she said, “If you had been here, my brother would not have died.  But I know, that even now, whatsoever you ask of God, God will give it to you.”  Jesus replied, “He will rise again”.  Martha said, “I know, he will rise again in the resurrection at the last day”.  Jesus said unto her, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die.”  Believers will be raised up unto eternal life.  Even now, by faith, Jesus will raise up that which is dead to fulfill the abundant life He came to give us.  Mary’s confession of faith that she believed that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God erased all doubt and set in motion the resurrection of Lazarus from the dead.  The question is, “Do you believe”?  Jesus not only can raise you up bodily, but if you believe, then whatever “it” is in your life that is dead, “it” shall be resurrected as well by faith in Jesus Christ.

Prayer for today:  Father, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is the resurrection and the life.  I ask you raise me up to eternal life with You and to raise my “it” up as well.   In JESUS name, AMEN.
