Give Thanks

thanksI Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Give thanks for all things, for the bitter and for the sweet.  There is never an occasion not to pray, not to rejoice, and not to give thanks unto the LORD.  The blessings of the LORD shown toward us outweigh the calamities of the world.  When you are tempted to murmur and complain, do as David did.  Rehearse the victories that the LORD has delivered into your hand.  David said he killed a lion and a bear and that he was confident that he would have the victory over Goliath.  Victories are in your future.  You are to pray without ceasing, to rejoice at all times, and to give thanks unto the LORD before you see your victory.  You say how is this possible?  I tell you it is faith in the ONE who is able to give you the grace to overcome every circumstance.  God planned for your life to be one of continuous prayer, joy and thanksgiving.   Today is a good day, for you have a bright future.  The joy of the LORD is your strength.  The blessing of the LORD is what God gives to you.  Thanksgiving is what you offer to God.  This is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.   In everything give thanks with a grateful heart.

Prayer for today:  Father, I am eternally grateful for all that you have done for me, all the victories that you are yet to see me through, and the assurance that I will live with you throughout all eternity.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
