The Best Plan
Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
The LORD never commanded you to do anything that would not benefit you. He commanded you to give. He does not need what you give. What must be readily understood is that He owns everything. He only asked that you give Him a 10th of what He makes you a steward over. One purpose of tithing was to teach Israel to put God first in their lives, according to Deuteronomy 14:23. Luke 6:38 teaches us the same thing, that is to put God first by worshipping Him with the first fruit of everything we receive. It must also be understood that He is not trying to take anything from you; He is trying to give you a reward for your obedience. As you give, the LORD is stirring up other people to give to you. The principle of giving is cyclic in nature. As you give, it shall be given unto you; as you give it shall be given unto you; as you give it shall be given unto you. The LORD will see to it that you get a good measure; that is pressed down and shaken together so that you may be able to receive even more. The process of pressing and shaking continues so that the running over will continue. As generous as you are with your giving, the same generosity will be given to you over and over again. The LORD’s plan is to prosper you and to GIVE you hope and a future. His plan is to make all grace abound toward you in every area of life. His plan is to GIVE you power to get wealth. His plan is to bless you and make you rich the right way. I recognize that His plan is the best plan. Therefore, I want to be included in His plans. What about you? GIVE.

Prayer for today: Father, you said to delight myself in you and you will give me the desires of my heart. My desire is to give more than I have previously given. In JESUS name, AMEN.
Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
Love
