Tick Tock, Tick Tock

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Though the clock is ticking, you are never too old to be used by God. You may think that your time has come and gone, but God can still use you to do great and mighty exploits for His kingdom. Sarah gave birth to Isaac when she was 90+ years old and she became the mother of many nations (peoples). Ezekiel was approximately 50 years old when he had a vision from God. He was a priest and was also called to be a prophet and a street preacher. His assignment was to tell the House of Israel about God’s impending judgment and salvation and to tell them to repent and obey God. I do not know how old Deborah was, but she was definitely not a child when God called her. She was a wife and was called by God to be a prophetess and the fourth and only female judge of Israel. Her assignment was to mediate, advise, and counsel. God used her to lead 10,000 warriors to victory in a battle against Jabin, King of Canaan, Israel’s oppressor. As God used Sarah, Ezekiel and Deborah, He desires to use you to give birth to the calling wherewith He has called you.   Your obedience will determine whether it will be sooner or later. His preference is sooner. The clock is ticking: Tick tock, tick tock.
