Will What You Are Wearing Today Make You Rejoice in the Future?

Proverbs 31:25 Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come Clothes on Bed GThe world says, “Clothes do not make the man (or woman); the man (or woman) makes the clothes”.  I beg to differ; clothes will make the man if he is wearing clothes personally designed by God. Actually, what the virtuous woman is wearing can very easily make you or me (male or female) or even the church universal.  This scripture is not confined to physical clothing or the beauty thereof. Though as a child of El-Elyōn, the Most High God you, as well as she, are robed with honor and majesty like unto our LORD. This scripture also addresses the condition of the heart. She prepared daily to wrap herself in the character of the LORD from which moral fiber is derived. Preparation time is never lost time. What you are going through or have gone through can be used by God. It may seem arduous, but it will allow you to rejoice in the future. Good practice makes for good outcomes. In other words, a good attitude while you are going through will make for a good outcome. She was never naked because she practiced putting on the clothes of strength and honor during the good times and the not so good times.   Strength and honor were her protection and adornment. She served the LORD and her family well. Because she prepared daily, she did not worry about her future or the future of her household. Come what may, she confidently trusted in the LORD and she knew that it would be well with her and her family.   Being dressed properly means that you have declared that the LORD is the strength of your life and you are not afraid of the future.
