Seal the Deal!

I Corinthians 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

God is faithful!  He will keep you strong, free and blameless until Jesus returns.  Of course, He is talking to those who are called into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ.  Called into fellowship with his Son refers to those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and LORD.  This qualifies them as joint heirs with Christ, to have fellowship with Him and to be blessed with all spiritual gifts as the Spirit wills.  All others are disqualified.  Romans 3:3 ask these questions, “What if some were unfaithful?  Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God?” Certainly not!  God is faithful!  He has sanctified you (consecrated, dedicated, and made you holy unto Himself).  He will continue the good work He has begun in you until the day of Jesus’s return.  The lyrics of one song says, “Don’t give up on God, cause he won’t give up on you.”  When you are weary or burdened down or have missed the mark, just remember: “He will never give up on you, no matter what. Never forget that God is faithful.  He has called you and your acceptance of God’s Son shall seal the deal.

Prayer for today:  Father, I ask for help to remember that you are faithful and that you will never give up on me.  In JESUS name, AMEN.
