Looking anywhere else other than to your sole source to have your need(s) met is unproductive.  It is God who shall supply all your need from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.  It is He, who supplies the seed to get your need(s) met.   Just as the rain and snow come down from heaven and water the grain and produce more seed, seeking God causes you to become more productive.  You are the sower.  God gives you the seed of His word, and your time, talent and treasure to sow into this lost and dying world.  As you sow continually, you will reap a harvest continually.  You will harvest souls for the kingdom of God, blessings of needs and desires, and both natural and spiritual food.  The more you sow, the more He will multiply and increase your seed because He knows He can trust you to spread His love abroad.  Finally, you will be filled with the likeness of Christ.  His righteous character will be produced in your life, that is, His honesty, truth, love, kindness, meekness, goodness, and so much more.  God is, through Christ Jesus, your sole source.  As you sow you can be confident that He will take care of you.

Prayer for today:  Father, you are my sole source.  Forgive me for the times I have depended upon my own efforts or the help of others.  Help me, I pray, to sow the seeds that come from You continually.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
