The Authority of the Believer, Part III

Authority responsibility-authorityLuke 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

All believers have full legal authority to win the war in the name of Jesus.  Whether you want to enter into combat or not, your adversary, the devil is always ready to kill, steal, or destroy the children of God.  Jesus’ name is the legal weapon of choice when entering into combat.  There will be many battles in life.  You will win some and lose some, but don’t fret or become discouraged, you will win the war. Seventy followers of Christ were sent to the nations of people.  The seventy were full of joy because they had experienced the promise of victory through the power vested in the name of Jesus.  Satan has been brought low, so as to be at your feet to be trampled upon.  The problem is that most believers do not understand that they have been given power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy.  Jesus declared that nothing shall be any means hurt you.  Truly, Satan has been declawed.  He has no real power of his own unless you give it to him.  When you find yourself in combat with the enemy, rejoice because you have the name of Jesus working for you.   (To be continued)

Prayer for today:  Father, I say what you say. You have given me power to win.  I win through Jesus’ name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
