Believe God

Believe untitledRomans 4:3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness

Put your faith on the line today, believe God.  Abraham was according to scripture a heathen and an idol worshiper when God made promises to him that changed his life.  Not only did Abraham’s decision to believe and act on what God promised affect him, but us as well.  If he had not believed, our “Soteria” (salvation, safety, preservation, healing, and deliverance) would have hung in the balance.  God promised him that he would be the father of many peoples and he would have a great inheritance.  God is looking for those who would believe in him to show himself strong.  Abraham’s faith was a confidence that what God promised would actually happen; it was an assurance of the things he could not see with his natural eyes, but clung to with his spiritual eyes.  Because he believed God, it was counted to him as being in right standing with God.  God can work with us when we have a strong, unwavering belief in him.

Prayer for today:  Father, I lay my faith on the line and believe I shall receive all you have promised me.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
