Don’t Give Up

Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

During the 10 year commemoration of the NCSU’s NCAA basketball championship, James Valvano, known as Jimmy “V”, gave his most memorable motivational speech, in which he stressed the importance of hope, love, and persistence and included his famous “Don’t give up, don’t ever give up” quote. You are encouraged to not get tired of doing good. Though no one may recognize your thoughtful attitude, your helping hand, or your hard work, don’t get tired of doing good. God sees you, and at the proper time, he will reward you if you just don’t give up. So, hang on in there, be strong, be persistent, and always work enthusiastically for the Lord, because nothing you do for him is ever in vain.

Prayer for Today: Father by the power of Holy Spirit, I ask for help to stay the course, to be steadfast and immovable and to never give up. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
