Twelve Critical Things to Pray for Yourself and Others
Colossians 1:3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
Everyone needs prayer. The best thing to do for a person and for yourself is to pray. Scripture reminds us to not sin against God by not praying for one another. When the Holy Spirit brings a person across your mind, it is okay to pick up the phone and call, but it is better to pray. Paul, led by the Holy Spirit, compiled a list of 12 things you should pray for people. They are as follows: 1) Pray that they become filled with the knowledge of the will of God. 2.) Pray that they will be filled with wisdom. 3.) Pray that they will gain spiritual understanding. 4.) Pray that they will walk worthy of the LORD. 5.) Pray that their walk will be pleasing to the LORD. 6.) Pray that they will be fruitful in all good works. 7.) Pray that they will increase in knowledge. 8.) Pray that they will be strengthened with all might. 9.) Pray that they will be empowered with the LORD’s glorious power. 10.) Pray that they will be patience when they need to be. 11.) Pray that they will patiently endure until the situation changes. 12.) Pray that they will be filled with joy. As Paul prayed for the Colossians, let us pray without ceasing for one another.

Prayer for today: Father, I pray these things for my family, loved ones, and all of mankind and that we all come into to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and accept Him by faith. In JESUS name, AMEN.
