A Letter to My Beloved

Letter to My Beloved 493944810
III John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Sometimes people who are in love will give each other pet names.  God loves us so much that He accepted us and gave us the same pet name that He gave His Son, which is “Beloved”.   Beloved is a term of endearment.  The Bible records it 108 times to express just how precious you are to God.  It means favorite, cherished, treasured, much-loved, adored, dear, darling dearly-loved, and friend.  When it seems like no one loves you or the pressures of life bear down on you, just remember who you are and what God’s will is for you.  His will is that you be so rooted and grounded in Him that you are like a healthy tree that has been cultivated, well watered, and successful in producing mature, bountiful, good and delectable fruit.   His will is that you be prosperous in your body, your soul (mind, will and emotions) and all your affairs of life.  His will is that you know that He loves you.  His love is so vast that each of His children is His favorite.   Child of God, accept the love and walk in the revelation that you are God’s “Beloved”.

Prayer for today:  Father, when the pity party begins, help us to shut it down by remembering that we are your “Beloved”.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
