Faith, Wisdom and Actions

Any time you apply faith to situations, it must be accompanied by wisdom and actions.  Abraham, the father of Isaac and Rahab, the harlot, applied faith, wisdom and action when each obeyed God.  Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.  Wisdom is seeking sound directions, clarity, and confirmation from God or His designee.  According to James, God will give wisdom when asked. According to Proverbs, victories are won and plans succeed through the abundance of godly counsellors, those who are God’s designees.  Faith is believing that God’s word is true and wisdom is the know-how to apply actions to what is believed about God’s word.   Finally, faith, which is not guided by God’s wisdom leads to ruin, but faith with wisdom and the corresponding action is the key to getting the victory in every situation.

Prayer for today:  Father, my confidence is in you.  Help me to hear you clearly and give me the wisdom to do what you are instructing me to do.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
