The Winning Partnership

wisdom-v-wealthAccording to Ecclesiastes, wisdom and money are defenses that serve as double protection against lack, poverty, and safety.  Wisdom means to have skill(s), a wise mind and knowledge to carry out an action.  Wisdom is good to have and money is good to have also. Wisdom and money are great partners.  The advantage of getting knowledge is that it guards the lives of those who have it.  Understand that God is not against anyone having money.  But what good is money without the skill to use it wisely?  Recognizing that not everyone has wisdom, James teaches us to pray and ask God what to think and do when we are unsure how to proceed.  He will not be condescending when we ask, but will give us a generous supply of wisdom.  Knowledge gained by asking God for help will guide our decisions concerning our lives and our finances.

Prayer for today:  Father, I ask for wisdom to make wise decisions and skillfully carry them out.   In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
