Gentleness – A Daily Work, Part 2

Let your gentleness be known to all. (Phil. 4:5)

Why is it Why is it Important to Become Thoughtful and considerate?

Moderation in this scripture is defined as mild, gentleness, thoughtfulness, and considerate.  Why is it important to be thoughtful and considerate?  They are the evidence that you are not self-centered.  They demonstrate that you are concerned about someone else’s well-being.  We are commanded to love one another as Christ has loved us and by this great love all will know that we are followers of Him.  When Christ returns, there will be a great separation of those who were thoughtful and considerate and those who were angry, harsh, prideful and selfishness.  Jesus will honor those who fed Him when He was hungry, gave Him a drink when He was thirsty, welcomed Him into their homes when He was a stranger, gave Him clothing when He was naked, looked after Him when He was sick and visited Him when He was in prison.  Whatever you do for any one of the least of His brothers and sister, Jesus declared that you were doing it to Him.  Choose not to let this day pass without being thoughtful and considerate to someone, especially those of the household of faith.

Prayer for today:  Father, I ask for help me to demonstrate my love for You by maintaining a thoughtful and considerate deportment toward all men.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
