Connecting-the-Dots

Proverbs 3-5-6 1b6827c6e65ac79203a5c8da5a1e09a3

Far too much time is spent on connecting-the-dots.  Connecting- the-dots means trying to figure out how to make things work, how to make things fit, how to mend a relationship, how to pay a bill, how to get a certain job, or who you can count on for help.  Our understanding is limited and has little value in the whole scheme of things, but God’s understanding is limitless.  He is the All-Wise God, All-Knowing God.  He sees the end from the beginning of a thing.  He is our guide over troubled waters.  The Amplified Bible say “It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man”.  As well intentioned as a man may be or even you may be, only God is trustworthy.  Another word for trust is confidence.  John declared that if we ask for things according to God’s will, which is His word, we can have confidence that He will give us the petitions of our heart.  Therefore, the plan for today is to resist the urge to “connect the dots” and to put your trust in God alone.  He has already connected the dots and He will direct your path into your victory.

Prayer for today:  Heavenly Father, forgive me for not acknowledging you as the All-Wise God, the All-Knowing God.  I ask you to show me how you have connected the dots for me today.   In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
