Disconnect Notice

Disconnect Notice Psalms 51:11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.   Nothing can disconnect us from the love of God.  Though He will not disconnect from us, as free moral agents, we can choose to disconnect from Him. Jesus declared that He is the vine, and we are the branches.  Those who remain in Him, and He in them will produce much fruit. For apart from Him we can do nothing.  Branches receive nourishment from the “Vine.”  A person who chooses to live with unconfessed sin is like hanging a disconnect notice on your own door knob.  It severs your relationship with God, just like in the natural the gas company severs or disconnects your gas service. Reconnect to God to restore your relationship with Him so that the power of the Holy Spirit will be at work in you.  Proof of your restoration is you can ask for whatever you wish according to God’s will and it will be done for you.   Scripture References:  Romans 8:37-39; John 15:4-7; I John 1:9 Prayer for Today:  Father, In the name of Jesus, I ask you to forgive me for _________.  Create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit in me.  Thank you for forgiving me.  I ask you to _________.    In JESUS name, AMEN.
