Brokenhearted

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the LORD God is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

Though your heart may be broken now, your future in Christ Jesus is bright. Jesus proclaimed with complete confidence in the ONE who sent him that the Spirit of the LORD was/is upon Him. He knew that He was sent to heal the brokenhearted. Whether your heart is broken due to loss or rejection, do not despair. Jesus is LORD! He is the repairer of the breach; He is the healer; He wipes away every tear and stops the pain; He is the restorer of the soul (mind, will, emotion); He exchanges your sadness with His joy. The Spirit of wisdom and understanding and counsel and strength rest upon Him and He makes all things new. Submit yourself unto Him and let Him bind up your broken heart.

Prayer for Today: Father, I ask you to repair the breach. In JESUS name, AMEN.
