The Mystery Revealed, Part I

Paul was sent by God to us, former Gentiles, to reveal the mystery, which was and is the Good News. What was this Good News? We are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. All of us who have been baptized into Christ have clothed ourselves with Christ and therefore, there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus. Since we belong to Christ, then we are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise. What promise? The promise of salvation through Jesus Christ whereby both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. We are all a part of the same body, and all enjoy the promise of blessings because we belong to Christ Jesus. You, who have confessed with your mouth the LORD Jesus, believed in your heart by faith and received this mystery of how God saved us and blessed us through the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of His dear Son, Jesus Christ have been given everything pertaining to life and godliness, eternally. Now that’s Good News! Hallelujah!

Prayer for today: Father, thank you for revealing unto us that there is salvation in Jesus Christ and that the promises of Abraham are our promises as well because you have made us equal in Christ Jesus. In JESUS name, AMEN.
