A Seasoned Conversation

Proverbs 31:26 She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. 

Wisdom is a virtue and kind words are pleasant to the ear. James 1:5 says if you don’t have wisdom ask God for it and he will give it to you. Let your conversation always be seasoned with wisdom. A person who is the possessor of godly wisdom does not talk just to hear herself or himself talk. No, wisdom is the grace of God to give godly counsel, to teach right from wrong, to edify and comfort others. The law of kindness is also referred to as the law of love. Express your love today by letting wisdom speak forth kind words to everyone. Who knows, that may just be the thing that is needed to comfort a tormented soul.

Prayer for today: Father, I dismiss chatty foolishness. I submit my tongue to you to speak forth the wisdom of God to express the law of kindness. In JESUS name, AMEN.
