Adulterous Relationships

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Walking after the flesh in any way will result in corruption of your spirit, soul, and body. In other words to give first priority to anything or anyone before the LORD is an adulterous activity. It is as if you have broken the sacred bond of marriage between you and God. God said, “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” When the LORD saw that the people, whom He brought out of the land of Egypt, had made a molten calf of gold to worship as their god, He immediately sent Moses back to them because they had corrupted themselves. They created their own gods to worship. Simply put anything or anyone that you make the object of your worship, love, or first priority other than the LORD is the same as committing adultery. Marriage is honorable and the bed is to remain pure, undefiled. Therefore, be watchful and prayed up so that you do not find yourself in bed with your adversary, Satan.

Prayer for today: Father you said if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (I John 1:9). Therefore, I ask you to forgive me for failing to make you my first priority. Thank you for forgiving me. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept his grace and make it a sweatless day.
