Value or Value and Valuable
Value or Value and Valuable
I Timothy 4:8 …godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. (ESV)
You can have value, but not be valuable. Everyone has value assigned to them by God. David asked God these questions, “What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?” God created man in His image and in His likeness, therefore, you have value. However, not everyone is valuable. Valuable refers to one being of great use or service when it comes to producing good fruit for the kingdom of God. Fruit refers to: 1) soul winning – lifting up the name of Jesus so that He may draw others to himself for eternal salvation; 2) edifying others – building them up in the faith until the day of Jesus’ return; and, 3) giving to further the gospel of Jesus Christ. You have worth, but will you be useful? Are you valuable (of great service) or are you the possessor of assigned value without being valuable? Selah (pause and think about it)!

Prayer for today: Father, my desire is to be useful for the kingdom. Help me to be about your business. In JESUS name, AMEN.
Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
Love
