Teaching from Your Book of Life, Part 2: Create Your Own Book of Life

Rewrite_your_own_bookTitus 2:6 Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.

Every day you are creating your own Book of Life. What will be found between your pages? Paul suggests that the old men teach the young men to be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, and in patience. You have been given enough instruction to formulate your pages or to erase the pages of your old book and begin again to formulate new pages. In the same manner in which you have been taught, teach others. Consider the following as you create your book: 1.) You can be demonstratively crazy to bring glory to God, but for the sake of others, you are encouraged to be in your right mind exercising self-control. 2.) As others follow you, ensure that all that you do become a pattern of good works walking in wisdom, sincerity, honor and integrity before the LORD. 3.) Speak words that cannot be condemned for they will promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bring healing to a man’s spirit, soul, and body. These are just three of the things that will be a blessing to those who read your book. However, the book is yours to create. What will be found in your book? Selah! (Pause and think about it!)
