The Benefits of an Early Start

Psalms 63:1 O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: … 

Beginning every day with praise, prayer and thanksgiving blesses the LORD and invokes His presence.  You give the LORD an opportunity to open your eyes so that you are not deceived by Satan, who disguises himself as an angel of light.  You give Him an opportunity to be your Jehovah Shalom, your God of Peace, who gives you a peaceful state of mind.  You give the LORD an opportunity to be your Jehovah Sabaoth, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, who fights your battles.  When you honor the LORD with the first fruit of your day, you put Satan on notice that you are not to be messed with today. For you have submitted to the LORD; you have been endued with the power to resist him; and JESUS has given you the authority to use His name and at the name of Jesus, he has to go.  Tell Satan that there is only defeat in his path concerning you today and continue to praise, pray and give thanks unto the LORD.
