My Prayer and My Resolve
Psalms 28:7-9 7The LORD is my strength and my shield; in Him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to Him. 8The LORD is the strength of his people; he is the saving refuge of His anointed. 9Oh, save your people and bless your heritage! Be their shepherd and carry them forever. (ESV)
My Resolve: The LORD is a mighty warrior; He fights my battles for me and I am confident of my victories in Him. The LORD is my shield; He is my protection against my foes. The LORD is my saving refuge: In Him I am safe; in Him I am hidden from utter destruction; in Him is my resting place and in Him I have eternal life. As David prayed, I pray with confidence and my trust and hope is Him. I know that LORD helps me as I allow Him to carry me through the difficult times as well as the tranquil times. Because of my confidence and trust in Him: my heart overflows with joy and my songs are songs of praise dedicated to Him. I am the LORD’s heritage. Therefore, I shall continually enter into His presence with a thankful heart and with praise and adoration upon my lips. The LORD is my shepherd and He will carry me forever.
