Release the Power

Jeremiah 10:6 Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might (power).

Powerlessness breeds hopelessness.  Powerless means weak; impotent, not able to produce any effect. Hopeless means having no expectation of that which is desirable.  If those two unmentionables are permeating your mind, know that they are attacks from your adversary.  A follower of Christ is never powerless or hopeless.  You have been promised a future and a hope.  You have been given a personal calling, the name of Jesus, to use in prayer to your heavenly Father.  Praying in Jesus name releases the power of God.  He assures us that if we ask anything according to His will, which is His word, and in His name, He will do it so that the Father will be glorified in the Son. The name of Jesus is great in power. Release the power!

Prayer for today:  Father, according to your word, I am neither powerless nor helpless. I stand in prayer releasing your power into my life by faith, in JESUS name, AMEN.
