Love: The Conqueror
I Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
Love is a conquering force. The God-kind of love is patient and kind, yet strong and firm. It never fails. Peter warns us to stop playing around and to let the God-kind of unconditional love lead us in every way toward one another and toward our enemies. Though we are to be watchful, sober (clear-minded) and to pray while we wait upon Jesus’ return, above these things we are to maintain a steadfast love for one another. Yes, there will be days when it seems as though your love is not working. But beloved remember this: God’s love works every day, even when you choose to be God’s enemy through refusing to obey His command to love. As Jesus loves you and is praying for you, you are commanded to love and pray for one another and your enemies as well. Fervent love covers a multitude of sins whether committed by you or against you. Be vigilant in your love walk toward one another, for in it; you will be covered and given the favor of God. By the grace of God, let the love of God be your conquering force.

Prayer for today: Father, by your grace, help me to rely upon your love to be my conquering force. In JESUS name, AMEN.
Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
