Availability and Usability

Butterfly monarchbutterfly5315John 4:29 Come, see a man, which told me all things that ever I did: is not this the Christ?

With Jesus, you past is your past.  If you are willing and available, God can use you to lift Him up so that He may draw others to himself.  A certain Samaritan met Jesus at the well when she went to draw water.  He told her everything that she had done.  God knows everything about us, but through repentance, He does not hold it against us.  Jesus then offered her living water.  She thought He was talking about natural water that would quench her physical thirst and that she would never have to return to the well to draw water again.  The living water Jesus offered her was himself, the spiritual refreshing that leads to eternal life with Him.  Jesus’ water cleanses and makes us fit to be used by Him.  After her encounter with Jesus, she ran to share the good news.  She said, “Come”, which is the same invitation that is offered today.  Won’t you come to Christ and allow Him to forgive you, refresh you and use you for His glory.  Just as Jesus used the woman at the well, He wants to use you. There are no limits to the benefits of knowing Jesus, personally, and being used by Him to tell others about Jesus Christ, the Messiah.  In the eyes of Christ, availability means usability.

Prayer for today:  Father, use me.  I am willing and available.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
