II Corinthians 10:3-4 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Most people would prefer to live in peace with everyone rather than live in a war torn state of being. Paul reminds us that not all wars are physical. He spoke of war with your enemy as a struggle that is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against the wicked spiritual forces in high places. During the war between the Athenians and Corinthians dogs were used to keep watch over their fortresses. The Romans trained their dogs to be weapons for engaging in aggressive, merciless, vicious attacks against their enemies. When your enemy comes like a roaring lion, remember that he is not a lion. He is a perpetrator. It is at this time that you should remove your peaceful garments, put on the full armour of God and become that ferocious attack dog praying with all prayers and supplication in the Spirit. Peace and victory belong to you. Attack! Attack! Attack in prayer and don’t quit.

Prayer for today: Father, help me to clad myself daily with your armour and with prayer and supplication so that I am prepared to ferociously attack our enemy. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
