Stay on the Potter’s Wheel

pottery-wheelJeremiah 18:3-4 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.  And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

God is in the renewing and reshaping business.  You and I are as the clay of the earth with all types of imperfection.  Periodically, the potter examines the vessels made of clay.  If you choose to stay on the potter’s wheel, with His righteous right hand, He will work out the marred parts and make you into a beautiful new vessel.  Can you see the wheel spinning as the potter, the master sculptor, God your Father, working with you to become His prized possession?  He wants to present you unto himself without spot or wrinkle, or any such thing; being holy and without blemish.  As you trust in Him, you will become a new creature in Christ and the old things you use to do will fade away.  Stay on the wheel and let the LORD work a mighty work in you.

Prayer for today:  Father, I surrender my life to you.  Renew me and reshape me into the beautiful vessel you intended me to become.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
