Lifting Philistines

Psalms 146:8 The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down.   The Lord loves the godly. NLT

Trapped under a heavy load of worry, doubt and unbelief?  Nothing seems to be going your way?    Are uncircumcised Philistines trying to take you out? An uncircumcised Philistine is anything that comes to do battle with you to bring you down or to foreclose on your eternal abode with Father God.  Think on this, has the LORD ever come to your rescue? If He has done it before, He will do it again.  David and the whole army of Israel were challenged by Goliath.  What seemed too large for a little shepherd boy was no match for the LORD.  The LORD lifts heavy burdens; He raises up bowed down heads; He comforts and delivers those who are weighed down.  “…this is what the LORD says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.”  All you are asked to do is to give it to Him; stay in faith, and keep your heart trouble free.  He knows just what to do, and He is willing to do it for you.

Prayer for today:  LORD, I lay all of the Philistines that are challenging me at your feet.  Thank you for doing battle for me and lifting me up.   In JESUS name, AMEN.
