A Better Relationship

Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

All who believe in Christ are justified, which means He has declared us innocent, made us free from the bondage of sin and put us in right relationship with God our Father.  Through this man, Jesus Christ, we have forgiveness of sin every time we ask Him for forgiveness.  Does this mean that we should continue in the same sin or sin continually?  Certainly not!  Jesus accomplishes, in those who believe, everything that the Law of Moses could never make good on.  The law never worked the way it was supposed to.  It was weak and unprofitable for it could not save us or give us hope of ever coming into right relationship with God.  But Jesus became our guarantee of a better covenant relationship with God our Father, forever.  You show that you believe in Him by trusting Him with your life.  He can deliver what He has promised.

Prayer for today:  Father, thank you for Jesus, my High Priest forever and my guarantee of a better covenant relationship with you.  In JESUS name, AMEN.
