Precious Jewels 

Malachi 3:17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him. 

There is a faithful remnant in Israel and there is a faithful remnant in the body of Christ that love, reverence, admire, and worship the LORD, who have Him on their minds, and talk about Him to each other often. The LORD’s ears are attentive to their worship and as they worship, a book of remembrance is written before Him recording the names of those who reverence Him. On the day of His return, He will gather His jewels (His special possessions, His peculiar treasures), those who believe on His name, who love, worship, and praise Him for His great love shown toward them when He called them out of darkness into His marvelous light. Will you be one of the precious jewels gathered for the LORD’s crown? Is your name written in the book of remembrance? Will He spare you as man spares His own son? Will you be found serving Him? Selah.

Prayer for today: Father, I love you and give you all the honor that is due you. By faith in your word, I am one of your precious jewels. Thank you for choosing me, and sparing me. In JESUS name, AMEN.
