Will Your Will 

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 

It would be easier if we were not free moral agents. What do I mean by that? If we had no will and our loving Father God made all the decisions for us. But He does not. He created us in His image and in His likeness. He possesses a will, the ability to choose, and so do we. Joshua gave the children of Israel three choices relating to who they will serve: Serve the false gods of their fathers, or serve the false gods of the Amorites, or serve the true and living LORD, God. Exercising your will demands that you choose who you will serve. Will you be like Joshua? He made a declaration of His will for himself and his family. He said, “…as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” You will have to choose for yourself and your family. False Gods are all around us. The world is actively serving false gods Baal, money, houses, cars, etc. and not the true and living LORD. Who or what will you will yourself and your family to serve? Selah.
