Speak Your Victory

II Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds:)

Yes, it is true. There is a war going on, but it is not with people. It is a spiritual war between spiritual beings. Satan is either trying to steal you from God or keep you from going to God. You are a three part being. You are a spirit that has a soul (mind, will, and emotions) that lives in a body made of flesh. You cannot fight spiritual wars with fleshly weaponry. Flesh will not pull down the strong holds occupied by Satan. What are strong holds? They are demon powers and alien armies; imaginations and reasoning that are against the knowledge of God; vain and evil thought of all kinds. How do you combat these strong holds? You submit your spirit, soul, and body to Holy Spirit by always being ready to stand against all opposition to the Gospel of Christ. It is the blood of Jesus and the power of His word working in you that brings into captivity every renegade thought and wins wars. Speak the victory you want by allowing the Spirit of truth to speak to you and through you.

Prayer for today: Father, I realize that I am not equipped to win spiritual wars apart from you. Help me, I pray, to always be spiritually ready to fight the good fight of faith as you pull down the enemies’ strongholds. Today, I speak victory. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.
