Swinging at the Air

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Every person who has ever touched down on planet earth has entered into the valley of decision.  Lacking understanding, not knowing what to do, what to say, and where to go can consume an inordinate amount to time.  At one time or another, you may have asked another person to help you make a decision or even to make the decision for you.  People are limited in their knowledge and may not know the final outcome prior to making the decision.  It’s like swinging at the air – you may catch a breeze and you may not.  Wisdom comes down from above; it is not earthly or natural.  It is Divine revelation.  James says to ask for it and you will receive a generous supply.   Instead of shadow boxing with the air, why not trust in and submit to the ONE who is all-knowing; who knows the end from the beginning; who has total insight into all matters?  Trust in the LORD and He will show you the decision that is right for you.

Prayer for today:  LORD, I don’t want to waste time swinging at the air.  I surrender my will to your will.  I ask you to show me what is right for me.   In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept his grace and make it a sweatless day.
