How to Get the Desired Results, Part 7

Door-knockLuke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

7.) Knock on the door of the storehouse of promises to get the desired results.  God moves on your behalf when He sees your faith barometer rising, which is in direct proportion to your shameless persistent faith and your shameless persistent prayers.  We have God’s permission to enter into the throne room of grace day and night to get what we desire.  Jesus told His disciples about a widow woman who was shamelessly persistent in faith and in her prayers to teach them that they ought to always pray and never give up on the things of God.  This widow woman went to see a judge, who was unjust in all of his ways, to get justice from her enemy.  This judge did not reverence God, nor did he care what men thought of him personally or how he ruled on cases set before him.  In other words, he totally had no respect for God or man.  Though she continually appeared before the judge, he would not grant her request.  She knew her rights and she knew that the judge held the key that would unlock the door to the storehouse of her rights.  Therefore, she was shamelessly persistent in faith and in her request (prayer).  Finally the unjust judge said to himself, though I don’t fear God or man, I am tired of this woman bothering me.  I will give her what she wants so that she will stop bothering me.  Unlike the unjust judge, God does not get tired of us knocking on the storehouse of promises.  Praying God’s word demonstrates that you place a high value on what He has said.  Jesus said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge.  Even he rendered a just decision in the end.  So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to Him day and night?  Will He keep putting them off?  I tell you, He will grant justice to them quickly! …”  In the storehouse, you will find justice, abundant life and eternal life.  Go and get what belongs to you!  Persistent faith and persistent prayer will open the door if you do not give up.   Finally, remember this:  1.) Be shamelessly persistent in faith and in prayer. 2.) Expect Results. 3.) Don’t beg God. 4.)  Remind God of His word. 5.) Build up your faith.  6.) Be willing to Wrestle with God.  7.) Knock on the door of the storehouse of promises to get the desired results.

Prayer for today:  Father, according to Psalms 37:4-6, you said for me to take delight in the Lord, and You will give me the desires of my heart. Commit my way to the LORD; trust in Him and He will do this:  He will make my righteous reward shine like the dawn, my vindication like the noonday sun.  Father, here I stand at the storehouse, shamelessly knocking in faith asking you to grant my request.  Thank you, LORD.  I receive it right now by faith in JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
