A Testimony that Overcomes

Every day of your life you are creating your testimony. A testimony is necessary because you have an accuser who appears before God day and night to accuse you of one thing or another. A testimony is a solemn declaration or affirmation of a witness for the purpose of establishing or proving something. Your life is your witness (your lifestyle and your word testimony). Your accuser is lurking around every corner lying in wait to overwhelm, overcome and devour you. But be of good cheer, God has given you the ability and authority to overcome your accuser by the blood of Jesus and the word of your testimony. Revelations affirm that salvation and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come and, as a result, your accuser will be cast down. Zechariah gives us a visual of what the scene will look like in Heaven.  He said, “… He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right side to accuse him.  And the Lord said to Satan, ‘I, the Lord, reject your accusations, Satan’”.  This is a picture that is all too often seen here on earth, you being accused of something. This scene will be repeated in heaven, you standing and being accused. But don’t worry, it is written: you shall overcome your accuser by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ the Righteous and the word of your testimony. Live your testimony today and every day so that you may be declared an overcomer, vindicated by your Heavenly Father.

Prayer for Today:   Father, I thank you that by the blood of Lamb and the word of my testimony, I am an overcomer. In JESUS name, AMEN.
