I’m Praying for You!

In view of the truth of God’s word, we must busy ourselves preparing for Jesus’ return. The true believer knows and understands that He is coming again. Paul ends his writings to the Thessalonians with this prayer. May the God of peace sanctify you wholly, which means to set you apart for His service. When God sets you apart for His service, He works on all of you. Man is a tri-fold being. The real you is a spirit, which has a soul and lives in a body. 1.) He works on your spirit. God breaks up the fallow ground of your heart to receive his Word if allowed to do so. A heart that is hardened toward the plans and purposes of God is not fit to be used for His glory. 2.) He works on your soul: your mind, will, and emotions. God requires that you have a sound mind, a willing mind and an emotionally stable mind. Whatever God requires, He gives. He has given the born-again Christian the mind of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Word, which became flesh. The Word produces a soul filled with all wisdom. Wisdom has to speak into the lives of others to teach, to warn and to encourage others to be watchful and obedient until the day of Jesus’ appearing. 3.) He works on your body. The spirit and the soul require a body to be legal in the earth. Your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which, is in you and you are not your own.   You were bought with the blood of Jesus. Your body carries out whatever has been planted in your spirit and soul. Most people like living in a peaceful and clean house. A peaceful and clean house/body is one of God’s requirements.   When asked, God will forgive, clean and keep you blameless through Jesus Christ.   My prayer for you is that the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ.

Prayer for Today:   Father, I ask you to preserve us blameless so that we may be prepared to meet our King, Jesus Christ. In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that. Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
