Gaining Wealth God’s Way

Proverbs 10:2 Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death.

Beware of get-rich schemes that lead to financial ruin or even spiritual death, which is separation from God.  The New Living Translation reads, “Tainted wealth has no lasting value but right living can save your life”.  Making hasty decisions in the times of trouble can and will most often backfire.  Believers are encouraged to go boldly to the throne of our gracious God to receive mercy and to find grace (favor) to help in the time of need.  It is the LORD who gives you the power to get wealth.  Wealth comes in many sizes, shapes, and forms: materially, physically and spiritually.  Whatever you are in need of or have a desire for, if you delight yourself in the LORD, He will give you the desires of your heart.  Trust Him to do what He said.  He is the only ONE, who is trustworthy.  Gaining wealth God’s way will “bless your socks off” and save your life.  Proverbs issues a warning to anyone who does otherwise.  It says, “Putting confidence in an unreliable person in times of trouble is like chewing with a broken tooth or walking on a lame foot”.  Avoid being broken and or lame.  The LORD is altogether reliable, capable and willing to take care of you.  Trust Him.
