Pardon the Interruption

community-outreach_std_t_ntMark 5:23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

At Jairus’ request, Jesus was on His way to Jairus’ house to heal his little daughter when a woman touched the hem of His garment and withdrew healing power from Him.  Immediately Jesus knew that someone had made a withdrawal from Him.  He asked, “Who touched my robe?”  Meanwhile, Jairus’ daughter lay dying at home and in desperate need of the Master’s touch.  A woman who had suffered for twelve years with a bleeding problem pressed her way through the crowd that surrounded Jesus to receive from Him that which only He could give:  her healing.  When she made personal contact with Jesus, she immediately felt her body being healed.  Jesus acknowledged her faith, made her well, and sent her away in peace.  While Jairus was witnessing this miracle of healing, a messenger delivered the news that Jairus’ daughter was dead.  Jesus said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid, just have faith.”  Though there will be interruptions that will cause a delay in you getting your needs met, just have faith.  God promised to supply all your need by Christ Jesus.  Keep the switch of faith turned on, don’t receive bad reports and you will receive what you need.  Jesus held the little girl’s hand and said, “Little girl, get up!”  She immediately stood up and walked around.  External interruptions cannot stop God from fulfilling His promises to you, only you can do that.  “Faith and one touch”

Prayer for today:  Father, what seems like an interruption to me is of no consequence to you.  Thank you for meeting all your children’ need according to your riches in glory by Christ Jesus.  In JESUS name, AMEN.

Whatever you must do today, there is a grace for that.  Accept the grace and make it a sweatless day.

Love
